ALPHA CENTER FOR DIVORCE MEDIATION SERVICES

The best path for separation and divorce

Some marriages, despite the most sincere efforts of the couple, cannot be repaired. Once a couple has reached this realization, it is usually in the best interests of all involved for the divorce process to be resolved quickly and with as little acrimony as possible.

Alpha's divorce mediation process is designed to produce a fair, balanced, and complete divorce agreement that minimizes the emotional and financial toll on the family. Alpha's caring and experienced team of attorney-mediators, therapist-mediators, and financial professional-mediators works with the couple to complete all aspects of their divorce agreement in an atmosphere of fairness and collaboration-one which holds the best interests of the couple's children as a primary concern.

Alpha's divorce mediation services begin with an hour-long consultation with an attorney-mediator who will review all of the important legal and practical concerns and who will explore the alternatives of litigation and mediation with the couple. At that point, the couple will choose whether or not to pursue divorce mediation with Alpha.

Those who choose mediation will have the benefit of an experienced, impartial team of attorneys, accountants and therapists working with them to formulate their divorce agreement. Many couples can complete their divorce transition in less than 9 months and at a level of financial cost that preserves more of the couple's assets for use in building their new lives. Couples who choose a litigated divorce can spend an average of $30,000 and take an average of 2-5 years (or more) to complete their divorce transition. A mediated divorce, as opposed to a litigated divorce, can also significantly lessen the emotional impact on family relations.
