Community Education Programs

ARC's offers family-focused educational programming designed to foster the strength and wellbeing of all families. The courses offer accessible, well organized, and practical educational material for families seeking to learn critical success factors for building relationships, parenting skills and financial planning. These programs are offered for presentation in community school curriculums and private organization formats.

2010 PROGRAMS

 

Parenting your Teenager

This course guides participants through the challenges of parenting today's teens. Problem solving, limit setting, and communication skills are reviewed. Parents will learn crucial signs that their child may be experiencing more than typical teen angst. This course is taught by an experienced therapist-mediator from the Alpha Resource Center.

Parents & Children
"Redefining Family After Divorce"

This class is designed to help parents become proactive in reducing the stresses resulting from separation or divorce within their family. Learn skills to redefine your relationship as partners in parenting and to communicate and co-parent productively. This workshop provides valuable information to aid parents in understanding and addressing their children's feelings and fears.

Please Note: Most schools will accept registrations up to and including the date of the class.
